Recommended dishes at the certified restaurant in 2016 "Hae-Ke's Capital": Lotus Set Meal, 客式挑魚 (Hakka Style Grilled Fish), Spicy Grilled Fish. "To escape the hustle and bustle of the city, why not visit the Lin Family Ancient Residence Leisure Farm on weekends?" says Boss Lin, the fifth-generation operator. Originally engaged in trade, he returned to his hometown by chance and, due to his love for nature and food, transformed the area into a leisure farm. There are different activities available on weekdays and weekends, including barbecues, earthen oven cooking, lotus garden tours, and heritage site guided tours. In response to the seasons, Boss Lin has specially developed a new style of dish set called "挑魚" (Grilled Fish), with the type of fish adjusting according to the season, primarily using fish weighing between 800 to 900 grams, because besides being delicious, the standout feature is the specially made iron serving dishes which allow the fish, rich in gelatin, to achieve a tender, flavorful result even after long cooking. Boss Lin mentions that there are two ways to enjoy the grilled fish: Hakka Style Grilled Fish and Spicy Grilled Fish, which often leaves customers unsure of which to choose, leading them to order both and indulge in a feast!
