In 2016, the restaurant was recognized as a "Seafood Capital" establishment, recommending dishes such as the Lotus Set Meal, 客式挑魚 (Hakka-style Grilled Fish), and Spicy Grilled Fish. "To escape the hustle and bustle of the city, it's a good idea to visit the Lin Family Ancestral Home Leisure Farm on weekends," says Mr. Lin, the fifth-generation operator. Originally engaged in trade, he returned to his hometown by chance, driven by his love for nature and good food, and transformed his land into a leisure farm. There are various dynamic and static activities available on both weekdays and weekends, including barbecues, earth oven cooking, lotus garden tours, and historical site guidance. In response to the seasons, Mr. Lin has specially developed a new style of set meal called "挑魚" (Grilled Fish), with the fish variety adjusted according to the season, primarily selecting those weighing about 600 to 700 grams due to their deliciousness. The key feature is the custom iron dish used for serving, which allows the selected fish, rich in gelatin, to retain its texture and flavor during prolonged cooking. Mr. Lin mentions that there are two ways to enjoy the grilled fish: one is the Hakka-style and the other is the spicy version, often leaving customers unsure of which to choose, resulting in them ordering both and enjoying a delightful feast! Food safety is a guarantee for customers.
