Lotus Garden Leisure Farm Introduction

At the Lotus Garden Leisure Farm, surrounded by natural green scenery, your heart will bloom alongside the beautiful pink lotuses, bright yellow Metasequoia, and charming duckweed! Located in the Guanyin District, renowned for its lotuses, the 2-hectare area features large lotus ponds, a straw museum, and an I Ching maze, along with various DIY activities available for you to enjoy a full day of happiness and leisure! Upon passing through the rustic entrance of the farm, you will find the dining area. Before appreciating the beauty of the lotuses, why not start with a complete lotus meal? Refreshing lotus seed dessert to beat the summer heat, generously prepared lotus shaved ice, tangy and refreshing Roselle stinky tofu, and fragrant bamboo tube rice with lotus seeds will awaken your taste buds. After enjoying these treats, take a stroll by the lotus pond; whether the lotuses are in bud or in full bloom, they are too beautiful not to capture stunning photos! The farm cultivates several varieties such as Great Pond Lily, Water Lily, Peony Lotus, and Thai Lotus. Don’t miss out on the "Giant Water Lily Experience," where you can stand on a lotus leaf and pose, transforming into a thumbelina or a martial arts master—it's full of fun! Inside the straw museum, you can see nearly a hundred handcrafted items made by the owner's father, including woven straw zodiac animals and farming tools. For those who enjoy DIY crafts, there are hands-on activities with straw brushes, straw swords, straw rope, straw sandals, and scarecrows. Moreover, food enthusiasts can also try their hand at making lotus leaf tea, lotus leaf mochi, and lotus leaf glutinous rice dumplings—fun, delicious, and novel! If you want to revisit the nostalgic rural scenes, participating in a local-style brick oven cooking is a must.
