Ding Tang Feng Introduction

Nai Ding Tang Feng Master, in collaboration with local artists from Nantou, has developed a unique dining experience that combines artistic elements with gourmet cuisine, drawing from various literary and technical sources. The restaurant's cooking vessel is inspired by the Western Zhou dynasty's ding, made of stainless steel and crafted as a single piece during firing. This vessel maintains a consistent temperature once heated, allowing for long cooking times without damaging the flavor of the food. Its stainless steel material releases iron during the heating process, which enhances the unique flavors of the restaurant's signature spicy and sour soup bases, creating a remarkable taste experience. The concept is rooted in a historical perspective from the Tang dynasty, blending both Eastern and Western influences while utilizing diverse sources of inspiration. The establishment prominently features works by local artists, showcasing art from antiquity to the present, including hand-painted murals of Tang dynasty ladies and ancient bank doors from the Qing dynasty, along with the utensils used by guests, all reflecting the host's artistic taste. In the design of its products, the restaurant maintains this philosophy, carefully coordinating a variety of soup bases aimed at providing guests with a fresh culinary experience. The message conveyed is one of an unrestricted food culture that challenges your palate and defies your expectations.
