Dengying Academy Introduction
Dengying Academy was established in the 28th year of the Daoguang Emperor's reign (1848 AD), also known as the Wenchang Temple. It is located in Xinzhuang Village, Caotun Township (formerly Beitou Fort Xinzhuang). The academy enshrines Wenchang Dijun and was designated as a county historical site in the 74th year of the Republic of China. Surrounded by lush green rice fields, it offers a solemn atmosphere and is an important place for many students to pray for academic success.
