Dengying Academy Introduction
Dengying Academy was established in the 28th year of the Daoguang era in the Qing Dynasty (1848 AD), also known as Wenchang Shrine. It is located in Xinzhuang Village, Caotun Township (formerly known as Xinzhuang, Beitou Fort). The main deity worshipped here is Wenchang Dijun. In the 74th year of the Republic of China, it was designated as a county-level historic site. Nestled among lush green rice fields, the atmosphere is solemn, making it an important place for many students to pray for examination success.
