Dengying Academy Introduction
Dengying Academy was established in the 28th year of the Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty (1848 AD), also known as Wenchang Temple. It is located in Xinzhuang Village, Caotun Township (formerly Xinzhuang in Beitou Fort), and is dedicated to the worship of Wenchang Dijun. In the 74th year of the Republic of China, it was designated as a county-level historic site. Situated amidst lush green rice fields, it has a solemn atmosphere and is an important place for many students to pray for academic success.
