Qingshui Ancient Trail Introduction
The Water-Carrying Ancient Trail is one of the six major water-carrier trails on Bagua Mountain. It has existed since the Qing Dynasty and currently consists of stone steps, paved paths, cement roads, and dirt paths that have been planned and organized. The trail is accessed via a section of Yuan-Cao Road No. 159 (County Road 148), where there is a Japanese-style torii gate and a parking lot. Along the way, there are many resting points. In April, visitors can enjoy the view of tung flowers and see butterflies fluttering about. Halfway up the mountain on the trail, there are two natural springs known as Longfeng Spring, which is the best place to appreciate the tung flowers. The trail is generally flat and easy to walk, with only a few sections that are steeper, requiring caution. It is suitable for families who wish to enjoy the tung flowers and butterflies. ▌Trail Length: 2.01 kilometers. ▌Walking Time: 1.5 hours ▌Facilities: Entrance imagery, parking lot (motorcycles, small cars), restrooms, pavilions, plaza, benches, signs, and guided explanation signs.
