Yunlin River Food Plaza Introduction
Yunlin River Food Plaza is located on Chengding Street in Douliu City. It is commonly referred to by locals as the "Covered Night Market" or "Snack Market," a concentrated area for street vendors. In the early 1970s, vendors initially gathered on Zhonghua Road, Zhongzheng Road, and Gongzheng Street to do business. After some reorganization by the local township office, they were concentrated on Gongzheng Street. A few years later, with the increase in stalls leading to a growing crowd, the environment of Gongzheng Street became dirty and congested. Consequently, the Douliu City Office decided to utilize the Yunlin River to build what is now known as the "Yunlin River Vendor Concentration Area." It has become a popular spot for leisure among Douliu residents, offering a variety of snacks and fast-cooked seafood. This place is a complete and relaxing snack world, and if you come to Yunlin, you must taste the food here.
