Established in 1986, the founder Mr. Yen Chuan-Ting was originally a third-generation caterer (head chef). Faced with an economic downturn and changing consumption patterns in society, he sought to transform the family business. With a unique vision, he chose to focus on "Taiwanese street food" - fish soup made with mullet, and developed a technique that is the only one in Taiwan utilizing rapid freezing and mechanical slicing, breaking away from the traditional manual cutting method. This preserves the fresh and sweet taste of the fish, paired with an exclusive specially-made soup base, maximizing the characteristics of the mullet fish soup. Other signature products include floating meat soup, crispy pork rib soup, dried noodles with meat sauce, golden fried tofu, and specially braised pork rice, among others. After decades of effort, the second generation has now taken over the management, transforming the traditional snack shop business model into a modern dining operation, distinct from the usual perception of snack shops, and provides a comfortable and elegant dining environment. They continue to develop innovative and tasty Taiwanese snacks, such as curry chicken omelet rice, curry pork chop omelet rice, golden chicken rice, railway pork rib rice, and freshly fried meat rice, all of which are beloved by consumers. While innovating, they also preserve traditional flavors, striving to carry forward and pass on their father’s philosophy and passion for food within the Taiwanese snack industry.
