Founded in 1986 by Mr. Yen Chuan-Ting, who originally was a third-generation catering chef, the restaurant faced challenges due to economic downturns and the M-shaped social consumption pattern. In the pursuit of transforming the family business, Mr. Yen keenly chose "Taiwanese street food" - Mullet Soup, and developed the only rapid freezing mechanical slicing process in Taiwan, breaking away from traditional manual slicing while preserving the fresh and sweet flavor of the fish. Paired with a unique specially formulated soup base, the characteristics of Mullet Soup are fully showcased. Other specialty products include Fish Maw Soup, Pork Rib Soup, Minced Pork Dry Noodles, Golden Fried Tofu, and Special Braised Pork Rice, among others. After decades of effort, the second generation has taken over the business and transformed the traditional snack shop into a modern dining operation, breaking away from the typical image of snack shops and providing a comfortable and elegant dining environment. They continue to develop innovative and delicious Taiwanese snacks, launching Curry Chicken Omelette Rice, Curry Pork Chop Omelette Rice, Golden Chicken Leg Rice, Railway Pork Rib Rice, and freshly fried Grilled Meat Rice, all of which are well-loved by consumers. While innovating, they also retain traditional flavors, striving to uphold and pass down the father's dedication to food within the Taiwanese snack industry.
