Kaiji Douliu Mazu Xinxing Temple Introduction
Fan Sha Ma Dou Liu Hsin Gong, located in the bustling East Market area, is dedicated to the worship of Matsu and Shennong Daidi. This place, formerly known as Fan Sha, is within the traditional territory of the Pingpu indigenous Hongya people. Therefore, Matsu here is also referred to as Fan Sha Ma. Historical records indicate that it was proposed for restoration by Shen Changsheng during the Daoguang period, and it was renovated again during the Xianfeng period.
