Duleou Holy Rosary Church Introduction
The origin of the Catholic Church in Douliu began in the eighth year of the Guangxu era, when Wang Lingmu and Father Giovanni Hang established a mission in Douliu, officially introducing Catholicism to the area. The St. Rose Catholic Church is the birthplace of this mission. The current church was rebuilt in 1953 under the leadership of Bishop Niu Huiqing, featuring a Baroque-style architecture with a prominent dome as its characteristic.
