Yummy Pasta Introduction
Chef Liu, the master of Yi Mian Bao Bao, learned his culinary skills over many years by starting as a front-of-house employee and then moving to the kitchen. He gained extensive experience on how to run a restaurant and start a business, building a store from the ground up. Still passionate about the food industry, Chef Liu decided to open an Italian pasta restaurant near his home in Zhonghe, combining affordable local dining with his expertise. The name "Yi Mian Bao Bao" was inspired by his joy of welcoming a new baby. Chef Liu emphasizes that every serving of pasta is cooked with a homemade clam broth, insisting on using high-quality ingredients and plenty of vegetables. He believes that maintaining quality is essential for customers to return. The restaurant features a semi-open kitchen, allowing customers to see the chef preparing each dish fresh, rather than using pre-made packets, ensuring a more authentic and flavorful experience. Recommended dishes include pesto pasta, creamy pasta, and spicy seafood pasta.
