Baby Pasta Introduction
Chef Liu from Yi Mian Bao Bao learned the art of cooking by starting as a front-of-house staff and eventually working his way into the kitchen. After years of honing his culinary skills and learning how to open and run a business, he decided to establish an Italian pasta restaurant near his home in Zhonghe. Combining affordable local dining with his expertise, and inspired by the joy of welcoming a new child, he named the restaurant Yi Mian Bao Bao. Chef Liu emphasizes that each serving of pasta is stir-fried using a homemade clam broth and insists on using fresh ingredients, particularly plenty of vegetables. He believes that maintaining quality is crucial for customers to return. The restaurant features a semi-open kitchen, allowing patrons to see the chef prepare each dish from scratch, avoiding pre-packaged meals, which enhances the flavors and makes the dining experience more worthwhile.
