Pasta Baby Introduction
Chef Liu of Yimian Baobao learned from working in the front of the house to kitchen roles and honed his culinary skills over many years. He also learned how to open a store and run a business, building a restaurant from the ground up. Still passionate about the food industry, Chef Liu decided to open an Italian restaurant near his home in Zhonghe, combining affordable local consumption with his culinary expertise. After welcoming a new baby, he named the restaurant Yimian Baobao. Chef Liu emphasizes that each serving of pasta is stir-fried with homemade clam broth and insists on using substantial ingredients, including plenty of vegetables, believing that maintaining quality will encourage customers to return. The restaurant features a semi-open kitchen, allowing customers to see the chef preparing each dish on the spot, creating a fresher and more enjoyable dining experience compared to packaged meals.
