Museum of World Religions Introduction
The Museum of World Religions, located in the Yonghe District of New Taipei City, is the first private museum in Taiwan to be officially registered. The museum showcases religious artifacts, altars, and architectural models from the world's ten major religions. In the exhibition hall, important architectural models of world religions stand tall, captivating visitors. In addition to its permanent exhibitions and collections, special exhibitions are regularly held. The museum employs a large amount of multimedia interactive displays, aiming to provide audiences with a comprehensive understanding of religion through various aspects such as artistic expression, classic literature, music, religious rituals, and architectural features. It allows visitors to experience the founding philosophy of the museum, which centers on "love" and "peace," and offers each guest a memorable encounter with the beauty of religion. From the moment visitors touch the pristine water curtain wall to begin their journey, the museum is filled with "codes" to discover. The "Avatamsaka World" exhibition area creates a sacred vision and anticipation when gazing at the sky, while the "World Religions Exhibition Hall" presents the essence of each religion. The miniature models of religious architecture meticulously reproduce the buildings’ exteriors and interiors with precision.
