World Religious Museum Introduction
The Museum of World Religions, located in the Yonghe District of New Taipei City, is the first privately established museum in Taiwan to have completed its registration. The museum showcases religious artifacts, altars, and architecture from the world's ten major religions. In the exhibition hall, there are important architectural models of world religions, with sacred sites standing majestically in front of visitors, evoking a sense of wonder. In addition to permanent exhibits and artifacts, special exhibitions are held from time to time. The museum employs a significant amount of multimedia interactive displays, aiming to provide visitors with a comprehensive understanding of religion from various aspects such as artistic expression, classic literature, music, religious rituals, and architectural characteristics. It allows visitors to experience the museum's founding concepts of "love" and "peace," offering each visitor an unforgettable experience of encountering the beauty of religion for the first time. Starting from the entrance with a pristine water curtain wall, the museum is filled with "codes" at every turn. The "Avatamsaka World" exhibition area creates a sacred imagination and anticipation when gazing at the sky, while the "World Religions Exhibition Hall" presents the essence of each religion. Miniature models of religious architecture are meticulously reproduced with precision, reflecting the buildings' appearance and interior arrangements.
