World Religious Museum Introduction
The World Religion Museum, located in Yonghe District, New Taipei City, is the first privately established museum in Taiwan to complete its registration. The museum showcases artifacts, altars, and architecture from the ten major religions worldwide. In the exhibition hall, there are scale models of significant religious buildings, creating a mesmerizing experience. Besides its permanent exhibitions and relics, special exhibitions are held regularly. The museum employs a large amount of multimedia interactive displays, aiming to provide visitors with a comprehensive understanding of religion through art, literary classics, music, religious rituals, and architectural features. It embodies the founding concept of "Love" and "Peace," offering each visitor an unforgettable experience of encountering the beauty of religion for the first time. Visitors enter the journey through a cleansing water curtain, where every corner of the museum is imbued with "codes." The "Avatamsaka World" exhibition area creates a sacred imagination and anticipation when gazing at the sky, while the "World Religion Display Hall" presents the essence of each religion. The miniature models of religious architecture accurately recreate the buildings, from their appearances to their arrangements, using precise techniques.
