World Religions Museum Introduction
The World Religions Museum, located in Yonghe District of New Taipei City, is Taiwan's first privately-run museum to complete its registration. The museum displays religious artifacts, altars, and architecture from the world's ten major religions. In the exhibition hall, there are important architectural models of world religions, creating a mesmerizing atmosphere where sacred places stand before visitors. In addition to permanent exhibitions and cultural relics, special exhibitions are held from time to time. The museum uses a large amount of multimedia interactive displays, aiming to provide a comprehensive understanding of religion through various aspects such as artistic expression, classic literature, music, religious rituals, and architectural features. Visitors can experience the founding concept of "love" and "peace" at the museum and have an unforgettable first encounter with the beauty of religion. The journey begins by touching the clean water curtain wall, filled with "codes" throughout the museum. The "Huayan World" zone creates a sacred imagination and anticipation when looking up at the sky, while the "World Religions Exhibition Hall" presents the spirit of each religion. Miniature models of religious buildings are meticulously crafted, faithfully reproducing the architecture from exterior to interior arrangements.
