Museum of World Religions Introduction
The World Religious Museum, located in Yonghe District, New Taipei City, is the first privately registered museum in Taiwan. The museum displays religious artifacts, altars, and architecture from the world's ten major religions, and features important architectural models of world religions in the exhibition hall, with sacred sites standing tall before visitors, evoking fascination. In addition to permanent exhibitions and artifacts, special exhibitions are often held here. The museum utilizes a large amount of multimedia interactive displays, aiming to provide visitors with a comprehensive understanding of religion through various aspects such as artistic expression, classical literature, music, religious rituals, and architectural features. It embodies the museum's founding philosophy of "love" and "peace," offering every visitor an unforgettable experience of encountering the beauty of religion for the first time. Visitors embark on their journey by touching the clean water curtain wall, where the museum is filled with "codes" at every turn. The exhibition area "Avatamsaka World" creates a sacred imagination and anticipation when gazing at the sky; the "World Religions Exhibition Hall" presents the spirit of each religion; miniature models of religious architecture meticulously recreate the buildings from their exterior to their interiors.
