Museum of World Religions Introduction
The World Religious Museum, located in Yonghe District, New Taipei City, is the first private museum in Taiwan to complete its registration. The museum showcases ritual implements, altars, and architecture from the ten major religions in the world. In the exhibition hall, there are models of important religious buildings from around the world, with each sacred site standing before visitors, captivating them. In addition to permanent exhibits and artifacts, temporary exhibitions are frequently held. The museum employs a significant amount of multimedia interactive displays, aiming to provide viewers with a comprehensive understanding of religion through artistic expression, classical literature, music, religious rituals, and architectural features. It embodies the founding philosophy of "love" and "peace," offering every visitor an unforgettable experience of encountering the beauty of religion for the first time. Visitors embark on their journey by touching the clean water curtain wall, making the museum filled with "codes" at every turn. The "Avatamsaka World" exhibition area creates a sacred imagination and anticipation when looking up at the sky; the "World Religious Exhibition Hall" presents the spirit of each religion; and the miniature models of religious buildings accurately recreate the structures from their appearance to their interior layout with precise technology.
