Cai Zong Li Introduction
This is an old zongzi shop in Kaohsiung City, where the owner adheres to traditional methods for everything from the filling to the bamboo leaves: only long glutinous rice is used, the bamboo leaves are high-grade bamboo leaves sourced from Meishan in Chiayi, and the peanuts are carefully selected from peanut farms across the region, achieving a perfect softness. Every purchase of a savory zongzi comes with a complimentary cup of hot jujube tea, which is refreshing and helps relieve greasiness, making it one of the shop's standout features.
