Kaohsiung Exhibition Center Introduction
In the vibrant marine city of Kaohsiung, the Kaohsiung City Government is constructing the "New Bay Area of Asia" with several major developments. The Kaohsiung Exhibition Center, located at the hub of the bay area, is Taiwan's first multifunctional convention and exhibition center by the port. It is near Kaohsiung Port and the Sanduo Shopping District Station of the Kaohsiung MRT, with only a 15-minute drive from Kaohsiung International Airport, making transportation very convenient. The center boasts an international-level landscape and professional exhibition space. Covering 45,000 square meters, the indoor and outdoor exhibition areas can accommodate approximately 1,500 standard booths, and the bright, spacious exhibition halls can be flexibly utilized as needed for exhibitions, international conferences, banquets, concerts, product launches, and outdoor activities. Notably, the South Hall features a column-free height of 27 meters and can support a load of 5 tons per square meter, making it particularly suitable for showcasing ships and large machinery. Meeting spaces of various sizes can accommodate up to 4,000 people, catering to flexible needs for different types of conferences. The entire venue offers high-speed wireless internet, opening up unlimited business opportunities, and it is the first venue to establish a 5G private network, providing comprehensive technological applications as a smart venue. With its energy-efficient architectural design and wave-shaped lightweight steel structure, it showcases the image and grandeur of a marine city. The exhibition center features a large-span steel structure covered with over 10,000 aluminum alloy panels to regulate natural light and air. The wave-shaped roof echoes the landscape of the harbor city, adding a striking landmark to the port. The building’s energy-saving concept has also won multiple green energy awards. At night, the surrounding area lights up with glimmering lights, resembling starlight or fishing lights flickering in the sea breeze, creating a dazzling night view of the harbor city in conjunction with nearby structures. The Kaohsiung Exhibition Center is undoubtedly the brightest star in the New Bay Area of Asia, offering a completely new experience for both business and leisure.
