Chia Yi Xiaotianmu Selection Store is no joke when it comes to incredible desserts, located near the Lantan Scenic Area in Dongyang New Village. The living environment here is particularly high quality, attracting many high-income families to settle down, creating a business district that brings together diverse cultures and international cuisines. Located at No. 1, Dongyang New Village, "Then Studio" is a hybrid store that combines lifestyle products, coffee, and desserts. You can find a wide array of popular Japanese purchasing items and a complete line of Swedish Fjällräven backpacks. The owner, Lin Xiaohua, previously worked in the education sector in Taipei but decided to move back home to accompany her parents. Initially, she started doing online purchasing from home, and later expanded to open a store, reaching its current scale after 8 years. Owner Xiaohua mentions that many of their regular customers are neighbors in the community, which has led to friendships where they often chat while shopping, thus developing food service offerings. Although primarily a selection store, the quality of desserts at Then Studio is astounding. The skilled manager strives to use locally sourced ingredients from small farms and has also introduced pancake mix from Japan's Kyushu to create desserts. Then Studio provides dessert afternoon tea in-store and accepts cake orders for special occasions, serving the local community.
