The Chiayi Xiaotiangmu Selection Store, no jokes about its impressive desserts, is located near the Lantan Scenic Area in Dongyang New Village, an area known for its high-quality living environment that attracts many high-income families, forming a vibrant commercial district with diverse cultures and international cuisines. Located at No. 1 Dongyang New Village, "Then Studio" is a lifestyle selection and coffee dessert hybrid store, showcasing a wide array of popular Japanese purchasing products and a complete selection of Swedish Arctic Fox backpacks. The owner, Lin Xiaohua, originally worked in the education sector in Taipei but moved back home to accompany her parents. She started as an online purchasing business from home and later expanded to open a store, achieving its current scale after eight years. Owner Xiaohua mentioned that many of her loyal customers are neighbors from the community, who have become good friends, often chatting casually while shopping, which led to the development of dining services. Although it primarily operates as a selection store, the dessert quality at Then Studio is astonishing, with an exceptionally skilled chef who strives to use locally sourced ingredients and even imports the pancake mix from Japan's "Kyushu Pancakes" for their desserts. Then Studio not only serves afternoon tea with desserts but also accepts cake orders for special occasions, serving the local community.
