Chaiyi Xiaotianmu Selections Store is no joke when it comes to amazing desserts. Located near the Lantan Scenic Area in Dongyang New Village, the living environment is particularly high-quality, attracting many high-income families and forming a business district rich in multicultural and exotic cuisines. At No. 1 Dongyang New Village, "Then Studio" is a lifestyle selection and café dessert combination store, showcasing a wide array of popular Japanese purchasing items and a full range of Swedish Fjällräven backpacks. The owner, Lin Xiaohua, originally worked in the education sector in Taipei but decided to move back to her hometown to accompany her parents. Initially, she started with online purchasing from home before expanding to a physical store, achieving the present scale after 8 years. Xiaohua mentioned that many of her regular customers are neighbors from the community who have become good friends, often chatting while shopping and thus developing food-related services. Although the essence is that of a selection store, the dessert quality at Then Studio is impressive, with a talented chef who strives to use local small farm ingredients and incorporates Japanese "Kyushu Pancake" mix for making desserts. Then Studio not only offers afternoon tea desserts in-store but also accepts cake orders for special occasions to serve the community.
