Hsiang Tai Cultural Hall Introduction
The museum's distinctive feature, witnessing the trajectory of democratic development, showcases exquisite artifacts through its static ancient relics and overall landscaping. It is the only human puppet sculpture museum in Asia. The exhibition space of the museum consists of three floors, featuring precious works by early master craftsmen from Taiwan, such as Yeh Wang, Ke Hsun, Hong Kun-fu, Lin Tien-mu, and Chen Chuan-you, from the late Qing Dynasty to the early Republic period. The first floor focuses on stories of loyalty and filial piety depicted in earthenware figures from the Cochinchina region, the second floor centers on immortal beings and folklore figures, while the third floor presents a complete history of the evolution of ceramics, from Chinese Han figurines to modern Cochinchina ceramic works.
