Hsiang Tai Cultural Center Introduction
This museum, a testament to the trajectory of democratic development, showcases the exquisite artistry of cultural relics through static ancient artifacts and the overall landscape of the museum itself. It is the only puppet and human sculpture museum in Asia. The exhibition space has three floors, displaying precious works by early Taiwanese masters such as Yeh Wang, Ke Hsün, Hung Kuan-fu, Lin Tien-mu, and Chen Chuan-yu from the late Qing Dynasty to the early Republic of China. The first floor features story-themed figures in glazed pottery centered around loyalty, filial piety, and virtue, while the second floor focuses on deities and folklore with representations of Daoist immortals. The third floor presents a complete history of pottery evolution, from Chinese Han figurines to modern glazed pottery works.
