Knock Knock Wood Workshop Introduction
Founded in 1969, Haishan Craft Workshop emerged during the early years of the lumber industry in Puli, which saw the establishment of over 450 woodworking factories. Under the leadership of the Shi brothers, Haishan Craft Workshop produced a large number of Christmas ornaments such as Christmas pyramids and incense puppets for export. Notably, it is one of the few woodworking factories that produces nutcrackers and music boxes. In 2012, it transformed into a woodworking studio where tourists can experience craftsmanship through music boxes, inheriting the manufacturing expertise of the past. The workshop shifted from traditional OEM to designing, producing, and marketing its own brand. Additionally, by utilizing the factory's idle space, it promotes the woodworking culture of Puli and cherishes the values of past artisans. One of the second generation's management directions is to refine and customize what was once considered DIY products into exquisite gifts for special occasions, expressing an irreplaceable sentiment that can't be fulfilled by others for someone cherished in one's heart.
