Chi-Chao Cultural Story House Introduction
Piao Yi is a tea farming family in Taiwan's Nantou, owning a 12-hectare high mountain tea garden. It is also the first professional manufacturer in Taiwan's tea ware industry to receive the Taiwan Excellence and Good Design Product Mark. In response to the younger generation and foreigners finding traditional Chinese tea brewing methods cumbersome, and moving further away from the healthiest original leaf teas, the company launched the world's first easy-brewing tea ware "Piao Yi Cup" in 1984. In 1987, it participated in the Japan International Invention Exposition (World Genius Exhibition) and won the gold medal accolade.
