Chiao Chou Cultural Story House Introduction
Piao Yi is a family business of tea farmers, with a 12-hectare high mountain tea garden in Nantou, Taiwan. It is the first professional manufacturer in Taiwan's tea ware industry to be awarded the Taiwan Excellence and Design Mark for excellent products. The company, aware of the complexities of traditional Chinese tea brewing methods that discourage young people and foreigners from enjoying original leaf tea, launched the world's first easy-brew teapot, the "Piao Yi Cup," in 1984. In 1987, it participated in the International Invention Show in Japan (World Genius Exhibition) and won a gold medal.
