"黑皮" is a transliteration of "happy." The third-generation owner of Black Skin Seafood Restaurant, You Zhihao, aims to create a joyful dining environment for customers. Having previously worked as a research and development engineer at Zhengxiang Food Company in Puzi City, the young and creative You Zhihao developed the restaurant's signature dish, the Giant Puff Pastry Seafood Meatball, using eight types of local seafood. This dish is a fusion of Chinese and Western cuisine and is quite popular among consumers. Black Skin Seafood Restaurant is located next to the Budai Tourist Fish Market. To accommodate the constant flow of tour bus visitors, the restaurant has twenty tables for group meals. The most famous dish is the Giant Puff Pastry Seafood Meatball, which boasts a weight of 300 grams when sauced, and it is a consistent winner in annual meatball competitions. This dish is also available for purchase on their website and can be delivered via express services. You Zhihao has also opened chain stores in Chiayi City and Minxiong to expand the Black Skin Seafood brand. Due to You Zhihao's extensive educational background and expertise in online marketing, the restaurant is one of the few in the coastal area of Chiayi that utilizes such marketing strategies. Their creative food marketing has attracted attention from various food programs on television, drawing many visitors from outside the region.
