Tao-Mi You-Shui Creative Restaurant Introduction

Since the restaurant opened, many guests have asked the owner, "Why does your restaurant feature frogs? Is it because you love frogs?" The truth is, not exactly, but in a way, yes... The owner was born in Taomi and grew up surrounded by various kinds of frogs, listening to their croaks. Now that he has the ability to open a restaurant in his hometown, he wants to use it as a way to engage with customers and express his love and care for his home. This helps people learn more about the Taomi ecosystem and allows children to connect with frogs. In Taomi, you can encounter two-thirds of Taiwan's frog species; in Taomi, you can meet one-third of Taiwan's dragonflies and birds. Nestled by the mountains and water, Taomi occupies less than one-two-thousandth of Taiwan's total land area, yet it boasts such rich ecological resources that even two or three townships can hardly compare. Taomi is home to an abundance of flora and fauna, including nineteen frog species, forty-three species of dragonflies and damselflies, and over sixty species of birds. The Taomi community is definitely a great choice for your summer getaway to cool off. You can explore the shaded paths of Lintou Valley, immerse yourself in lush forests accompanied by dragonflies, and take a natural ecology observation tour. Don’t forget to visit Water's Edge Creative Bistro for a taste of authentic local cuisine!
