Taomi Ecological Village Introduction
The previously abandoned taro fields have been transformed, and during the day, they serve as a secret base where dragonflies gather and practice their flying stunts. At night, the noisy frogs turn it into a concert venue. The Zhonglukeng Wetlands offer you a different experience day and night. The Taomi Ecological Village Tourist Information Center, service hotline 0937-758-176, is located 5 kilometers southwest of Puli Township. It is one of the village spots along Zhongtan Road (Provincial Highway 21), covering an area of 18 square kilometers with an elevation ranging from 420 to 850 meters. About 80% of the area consists of hilly terrain, with little development, leading to a rich forest environment that nurtures diverse species.
