Papermaking Dragon Creative Workshop Introduction
The philosophy of "Puli Paper" since its establishment in 1979 is to create every sheet of paper with care. Under the leadership of founder Mr. Chang Ching-Hsiang, the company has traversed 40 years and now markets its superior papermaking technology to over 60 countries across five continents. In 2007, with the guidance of the Industrial Technology Research Institute of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the "Papermaking Dragon Handicraft Museum" was established, which is a tourist factory showcasing the mechanical papermaking process. Unlike the traditional papermaking methods everyone is familiar with, Papermaking Dragon presents a more modern and lifestyle-oriented machinery. Through storytelling tours and DIY handcrafts, it conveys the warmth of paper to visiting tourists. The Papermaking Dragon Handicraft Museum is located in Puli, Nantou, a small town known for papermaking since the Qing Dynasty. After enduring a challenging and competitive environment, it has transformed from a traditional paper factory into a tourist factory. Papermaking Dragon uses its own factory-produced "Color Wave Paper" to develop and create "Paper Lego 3D Figure," which is popular among both children and adults. In addition to allowing you to enjoy the fun of DIY handcrafts, the exhibition hall also showcases many designs and creations of paper art. Here, you will discover that paper is no longer just a simple sheet, but has different forms that reflect our rich aesthetic in life. You are welcome to visit and experience the joy of creation! It is believed to provide great inspiration and assistance in imagination, creativity, and construction, allowing you to gain a broader perspective in your creative endeavors.
