Paper Dome New Homeland Educational Park Introduction
During the day, the Paper Church is adorned with butterflies, and as night falls, it exudes a tranquil and warm atmosphere. The regular music feasts and art exhibitions held here add to its elegant cultural atmosphere. The design concept of the Paper Church is inspired by the architect Bernini from the Baroque era, who used similar concepts when constructing churches for the Roman Church. Shigeru Ban utilized paper tubes to create the elliptical shape, forming a corridor between the exterior walls. The paper tubes on the inner side of the ellipse are closely arranged, while the spacing between the paper tubes at the entrance is larger. Upon entering the hall, the sunlight streaming through the canopy ceiling creates a wonderful feeling of rising upward.
