Yunlin River Food Plaza Introduction
Yunlin River Food Plaza is located on Chengding Street in Douliu City, commonly referred to by locals as the "Covered Night Market" or "Snack Market." In the early 1970s, vendors originally gathered on Zhonghua Road, Zhongzheng Road, and Gongzheng Street to do business. After a reorganization by the town hall at that time, they were concentrated on Gongzheng Street. Several years later, as the number of stalls increased and crowds grew, Gongzheng Street became dirty and congested. Therefore, the Douliu City Office utilized the Yunlin River to build what is now the "Yunlin River Vendor Concentration Area," which has become a popular leisure spot for the people of Douliu. Here, you can find a variety of snacks and casual seafood restaurants, making it a complete world of leisure and snacks. When you visit Yunlin, you must come here to indulge in the local delicacies.
