Yongfeng Spring Roll and Shaved Ice House Introduction
In the first market of Puzi Town, the enormous and satisfying "Yongfeng Spring Rolls" stands out with a rich sense of community. This 70-year-old establishment originally gained fame for its shaved ice, and only offered spring rolls during the Tomb-Sweeping Festival. This spring roll, besides being generously filled and delicious, is notably twice the size of a regular spring roll. The reason lies in Taiwan’s early agricultural society, where many worked in the fields. To ensure customers left satisfied and energized for their tasks, an additional serving of fried noodles was included. This gesture of hospitality gradually built the small shop’s reputation, and everyone who has tasted it has left with praise.
