Hsuan Shan Lake Mountain Coffee Introduction
Xuan Mountain Lake Forest Coffee Shop, established in 2004, covers an area of three hectares and is home to 1,800 coffee trees. The café's main feature is its consistent process from harvesting, peeling, washing, drying, shelling, roasting to brewing the coffee. Initially introduced by the owner, the Dongshan coffee variety was planted in Dapu Township. In 2006, it participated in the Tsengwen Reservoir Coffee Festival and won awards in the coffee tasting competition. The Arabica coffee grown here is medium roasted, producing a flavor that is not sour, not astringent, slightly bitter, and has a sweet aftertaste. With low caffeine content, this unique Taiwanese coffee is nurtured in the humid, warm climate of the Tsengwen Reservoir, where organic, pesticide-free coffee is born.
