"Jiali Meatballs," originally called "Baozi," was invented by Chen Jinfuk, and locals in Jiali refer to it as "Baozi Fu." After World War II, to distinguish it from steamed buns, it was renamed "Meatballs." Fresh pork is mixed with dried bamboo shoots, sweet potato, and dried shrimp for the filling, wrapped in a fragrant Q-style outer skin, deep-fried, and topped with garlic paste and cilantro, making it delicious and renowned far and wide.
