Shi Fang Hsuan Peanut Candy, Ma Hua Rolls Introduction
"Shih Fang Hsuan" has established a reputation in Anding for over 40 years and has won awards for traditional pastries. It is also designated by the local district office for gifting during festivals, particularly for its "A Lu Bo Sweet Potato Candy." Anding District was once part of the Siraya Plains indigenous people’s community, known as "Chih Ka Nong," during the Zheng period of settlement in Taiwan, with the intention of creating stability for expansion. "Su Cuo Li" was the battlefield where Qing Dynasty general Lan Ting-zhen defeated Zhu Yi-gui. Although only remnants of mango trees remain, this notable battle in Taiwanese history has left a rich legacy in the area, and "Shih Fang Hsuan" is located in this legendary village!
