Good Harvest Culture and Creative Museum Introduction
Nanfangao Fishing Port in Su'ao Township, Yilan, has preserved traditional fishing tools and methods from the Japanese colonial government since the 1920s, adding a distinctive Japanese fishing culture to the local fishermen's lives. Many customs from Japanese fishing culture have been passed down, one of which is the "Blessing for Abundant Catch." In the early fishing village, whenever a new boat was launched, friends and family would present a "Abundant Catch Flag" to convey blessings and mutual support. Therefore, the Su'ao Fishermen's Association established the "Blessing for Abundant Catch Cultural and Creative Museum" at the end of 2015, hoping to continue preserving and transmitting this culturally rich fishing village tradition, providing the most authentic fishing village cultural experiences as well as the freshest catch and home-cooked flavors from local fisherwomen for everyone to enjoy. The goal is for every visiting traveler to feel "health, happiness, peace, and blessings for an abundant catch." The 360-degree simulated 3D Fish Tornado Tunnel is a masterpiece created by Taiwan's renowned 3D illusion artist, Master Tu Long. It depicts the most representative species of Nanfangao Fishing Port, including swordfish, mackerel, yellowfin tuna, and coral reefs. Master Tu Long employs a special 3D painting technique and fluorescent paint, making the fish in the 3D realistic Fish Tornado Tunnel vivid and lifelike, as if one is truly immersed in this mysterious ocean world. The "Southern 4Q" will creatively design using the four most abundant fish species from Nanfangao, allowing the public to have a clearer and more engaging understanding of local fish products, moving beyond just stereotypical impressions. Little Qing (Mackerel): Lively and cute in appearance, loves to camp with friends, chatting around the campfire at night. Bajiao Mei (Swordfish): A fashionable swimmer with a flamboyant personality, loves wearing outrageous outfits to attract attention, but her stunning looks can be intimidating. Ah Gui (Shooting Star Fish): Slightly comical in appearance but passionate at heart, embodying the qualities of a modern 'gentleman,' often described as "I may be ugly, but I'm gentle." Ah Lang Ge (Shark): Strong yet introverted and timid, possesses sharp senses and instincts; can quickly find your hiding place while playing hide and seek.
