Nanfang Ao Observation Deck Introduction
The magnificent aerial view of Nanfarang Harbor has always been a must-see for many photography enthusiasts, and the Nanfarang Observation Deck, built on a cliff, has therefore become the best photography spot. Standing on the wooden observation deck, the wide view allows you to see the endless Pacific Ocean, the continuous Bitou Mountain, the unique Tofu Cape landscape, and the classic beauty of ships docked in the fishing port. On clear days, you can even spot Guishan Island in the distance! The Nanfarang Observation Deck, expanded and renovated from the original parking lot, is located at the 108-kilometer mark of Suhua Highway at an altitude of about 140 meters. This height is sufficient to overlook the Shuangao Fishing Port beneath the blue sky and sea, and the spacious outdoor platform is completely unobstructed, providing great views from every position. When you come here, don’t forget to take your phone or camera and capture the beautiful scenery of Nanfarang! As the day progresses, you can enjoy different changing scenes from the observation deck; the morning glow of sunrise heralds the start of a day in the Nanfarang fishing port with warm light; in the afternoon, the bright sun makes the harbor even more vivid and colorful; as the sunset descends and night falls, the red clouds transition to the flickering lights of fishing boats, and the quiet time of the Nanfarang fishing village begins. If you want to fully appreciate the harbor's beauty and the stunning mountain-sea scenery, Nan'an Elementary School and Nanfarang Observation Deck are highly recommended spots. Overlooking this picturesque view from above can help clear your mind and soothe your soul!
