The Sidu Seedling Nursery Trail is situated at the border of New Taipei City and Yilan County. It is one of the important seedling centers in northern Taiwan, belonging to a subtropical humid climate. The nearby mountainous area has been systematically afforested since the Japanese colonial period. The nursery features bamboo groves, streams, and forest trails, creating a moist environment that provides a high-quality habitat for wildlife. The endpoint of the Sidu Seedling Nursery Trail is a viewing platform, which offers a panoramic view of the entire Sidu Seedling Nursery. This platform marks the end of the trail. After transforming into a northern seedling center, Sidu Nursery has successfully rehabilitated over 20 species of trees and shrubs, including Taiwan fir, Niu Chang wood, and Wulai rhododendron. The guided map indicates that the Sidu Seedling Nursery Trail is 1.4 kilometers long, with a round trip taking approximately 100 minutes. This trail connects to Shihpai County Boundary Park, allowing visitors to experience forest ecology while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Lanyang.
