Dongshan River Water Park Introduction
The Dongshan River Water Park, which combines water and green spaces, is located along the Dongshan River. At a glance, one can see the bright red, arched Lizijian Bridge. On the steps of the dragon slope, interesting mosaic artworks created by local children can be found. The well-planned park is divided into three main areas, allowing visitors of all ages to fully enjoy the "water experience." The boating area can be used for practicing dragon boating and Western-style rowing, or for taking small boats to enjoy the romantic scenery of the reflected water and distant boats. The wading area features varying depths, only covering the ankles, where many are seen spending time in the water. The large white stones and the crescent-shaped small stone walls in the pool carry symbolic meanings; the small stone wall represents bamboo barriers for duck breeding, while the large white stone symbolizes ducks swimming in the water, reminiscent of traditional duck-farming families in Yilan. There's also the water play area that children adore, which is divided into swimming pool, fitness pool, and river journey, where visitors can come prepared with swimwear for a great time during summer! Additionally, the pool is designed to mimic the winding shape of the Lanyang River, so surprises can be found throughout the Dongshan River Water Park.
