Taiwan Theater Museum Introduction
Founded in 1990, it is the first museum established in Yilan County and also the first public local museum in Taiwan. Its purpose is to collect materials on the development of Taiwanese drama, as well as to survey, gather, organize, and promote Taiwan's traditional folk theater. Yilan is the only homeland of the indigenous theatrical genre Gezaixi in Taiwan, which further enhances the representativeness of this museum.
