Dongmen Night Market Introduction
Dongmen Night Market is located under the Donggang Overpass on Shenghou Street and is one of the most representative night markets in Yilan City. It is about a five-minute walk from Yilan Train Station; simply walk straight along Yixing Road to reach it, making transportation very convenient. The main area of the night market is shaped like an "L," formed by Shenghou Street and Hemu Road. Established in the 68th year of the Republic (1979), it has a history of over forty years. The original site was a triangle park, which gradually developed into a popular place for locals to eat, shop, and relax as the Donggang Overpass was expanded. It is also an excellent window for visitors to experience the atmosphere of life in Yilan.
