Waiao Beach Introduction
Wai'ao Beach, also known as Gang'ao Beach or Gang'ao Sands, is located outside of Wushi Harbor, which was once bustling with ships, hence the name Wai'ao. It is situated to the north of Wushi Harbor and features a vast, flat, and clean sandy beach where waves of white foam crash onto the shore. In the distance, Turtle Island can be faintly seen, making this area a favorite for families playing in the water and surfers.
