Wai'ao Beach Introduction

Wai'ao Beach, also known as Gang'ao Beach or Gang'ao Sand Beach, is located just outside Wushi Harbor, which was once a hub for ships. Wai'ao Beach lies to the north of Wushi Harbor and features a vast, flat, and clean sandy shoreline where waves of white foam wash ashore, with the distant Turtle Island visible on the horizon. It's a favored area for families to enjoy water activities and for surfers. In addition to wading and playing in the sand, there are exciting extreme sports here that require skill and courage, such as paragliding and surfing. A stroll along the coastal embankment path allows visitors to listen to the sound of the waves, gaze at Turtle Island, admire the prowess of surfers, or look up to see paragliders soaring in the sky, enjoying a moment of tranquility in the midst of a busy life. If you get tired from walking, you can enter the uniquely designed Wai'ao Service Area, with its bright yellow exterior, and sit by the fish pond to let the fish nibble at your feet for an unusual foot spa experience. Alternatively, you can order a cup of coffee, paired with the stunning blue sea view and sandy beach, making it a true pleasure of life.
