Wai'ao Beach Introduction

Wai'ao Beach, also known as Gang'ao Beach, is located outside of Wushi Harbor, where ships once gathered, hence the name Wai'ao. Situated to the north of Wushi Harbor, Wai'ao Beach boasts a vast, flat, and clean shoreline, with waves gently crashing onto the shore and the distant Guishan Island faintly visible. This area is popular among families for water play and surfers. In addition to wading and sand play, there are thrilling extreme sports available, such as paragliding and surfing, which require skills and courage. Walking along the coastal promenade, listening to the sound of waves, gazing at Guishan Island, admiring the skills of surfers, or watching paragliders soaring in the sky allows one to enjoy a rare moment of leisure amid a busy life. When you get tired from walking, you can visit the uniquely designed Wai'ao Service Area, which has a bright yellow facade. You can sit by the fish pond and let the fish nibble at your feet for a different kind of foot spa experience, or order a cup of coffee to enjoy alongside the blue sea view and sandy beach—truly a great pleasure in life.
