Wai'ao Beach Introduction

Waiao Beach, also known as Gangao Beach or Gangao Sand Beach, is located outside Wushi Harbor, where ships once gathered, hence the name Waiao. The beach is situated to the north of Wushi Harbor and features a vast, flat, and clean sandy shore, with waves of white foam crashing onto the shore. In the distance, you can faintly see Turtle Island, making it a favorite area for families to play in the water and for surfers. In addition to splashing in the waves and playing in the sand, there are also thrilling extreme sports that require skill and courage, such as paragliding and surfing. Strolling along the coastal promenade, listening to the rhythmic sound of the waves, gazing at Turtle Island, admiring the surfing experts, or watching the paragliders dance in the sky, you can enjoy a rare moment of leisure in a busy life. When you get tired of walking, you can enter the uniquely designed Waiao Service Area, characterized by its bright yellow exterior. Here, you can sit by a fish pond and let fish nibble your feet for an exfoliating experience, or order a cup of coffee accompanied by the azure sea view and sandy beach, truly a great enjoyment in life.
