Waiao Beach Introduction
Waiao Beach is located adjacent to Wushi Fishing Harbor, facing the blue Pacific Ocean and the distant Guishan Island. It is a highly popular coastal attraction. The terrain here is open, with a broad and flat coastline, and the sandy area consists of fine black sand, which is quite distinctive. As one of the few beaches in the Yilan area suitable for both surfing and family water activities, it attracts tourists from all over Taiwan and surfers from both home and abroad throughout the year.
