Daxi Tomb Introduction
Daxi Mausoleum was originally known as "Tou Liaobinguan" and is a very simple siheyuan (courtyard house). It was initially used to store documents and archival materials of the Presidential Office. After the passing of former President Chiang Ching-kuo in 1988, the place was renamed "Daxi Mausoleum." The interior of the mausoleum contains only the memorial hall and office of Mr. Chiang, with very simple furnishings that reflect his modest personality. The plum trees and cypress in the courtyard enhance the elegant and fresh atmosphere. Daxi Mausoleum is located about 1 kilometer from Cihu Mausoleum, and there is a scenic path connecting the two, offering changing mountain and forest views with the seasons, where visitors can leisurely enjoy the beauty of the streams and greenery along the way.
