Zhongli Tourist Night Market - Crazy Sushi Introduction
In 2016, as part of the Starlight Market project, the Night Market team held a Creative Food Award. The owner, inspired by having sushi made by a friend, decided to become a sushi chef. He approached his friend to learn how to make delicious sushi, but the friend always delayed, failing to even share the basic sushi rice recipe. Not one to give up, the owner independently researched how to make perfectly cooked sushi rice and incorporated his own creative flair with seared toppings. After receiving recognition from a Japanese master chef, he began operating in the Chungli Tourist Night Market. His self-developed seared cheese sushi received great acclaim, and the bright yellow hue of the cheese covering the sushi rice gave the owner the confidence to declare that this unique sushi is exclusively available at the Chungli Tourist Night Market.
