Zhongli Tourist Night Market - Crazy Sushi Introduction
In the 2016 Starry Night Market project, the Creative Food Award for the night market was awarded to a boss who wanted to become a sushi chef after trying his friend's sushi. He sought to learn how to make delicious sushi from his friend, but his friend kept procrastinating and never shared even the basic recipe for vinegared rice. Refusing to give up, the boss researched how to make perfectly separated vinegared rice on his own, added his creative touch with torched ingredients, and eventually gained recognition from a Japanese master before starting his business at the Zhongli Night Market. His self-developed torched cheese sushi received high praise, as the vibrant yellow cheese wrapped around the sushi rice allowed the boss to confidently state that this delicious sushi is exclusively sold at the Zhongli Night Market.
