Zhihben National Forest Recreation Area Introduction
Jhihben National Forest Recreation Area is situated at an elevation of 110 to 650 meters and enjoys a warm and humid climate year-round. The area is rich in diverse flora and fauna, featuring major attractions such as the century-old banyan tree, century-old sour vine, and the Jhihben Herb Garden. The recreation area is an excellent destination for ecological tourism, forest therapy, family activities, and night-time observation. In recent years, the trail system has been optimized, wood education facilities have been introduced, and the Jhihben Aroma series products have been launched, allowing the beautiful forest memories to extend into daily life. Open a window to experience the beauty of the forest! In 2024, a renovation project for the retail space was initiated, introducing a visually aesthetic 6-meter large viewing window, allowing visitors to "overlook the entire forest" from the shop, offering unobstructed views of the refreshing mountain scenery and waterfall. The first "Forest Manufacturing" brand concept store in Eastern Taiwan has also been established—"Forest Manufacturing" X "Hubi Apartment Jhihben," focusing on nature conservation and sustainable development, innovating the operational thinking of forest leisure retail spaces, and connecting the public with forest ecosystems to create diverse service values. The interior of the shop also features details using domestic materials and carefully selected local dining options, unique crafts, forest literature, Taitung plant-based scents, and outdoor lifestyle products, making visitors feel as if they have stepped into the Jhihben forest and experience the beauty of Taiwan's forests.
