Sanhe Seaside Park Introduction
Upon seeing the eye-catching water-blue seahorse-shaped entrance monument, you know you have arrived at Sanhe Coastal Park. Walking up to the observation platform offers a wide view of the vast Pacific Ocean, bringing a sense of refreshment. The coastal park is equipped with advanced solar and wind energy facilities, supplying nighttime park lighting and services for important community celebrations. The wind turbines are particularly distinctive; as the sea breeze blows, they begin to rotate gracefully like a musical score, accompanied by the swaying coconut trees and dotted boats, creating a scene full of exotic charm. Adjacent to the park is the former "Tuna Trap" Sanhe Fishing Port, which features a bonito processing factory and a bonito museum. This port serves as the landing site for Taimali Township’s set-net fishing industry. The unique method of fishing here, set up in the area traversed by the Kuroshio Current, often catches large edible fish, such as Japanese Spanish mackerel. The market opens for fish landing and auction at 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM each day, bustling with lively voices and calls, creating a vibrant atmosphere.
