Sanhe Seaside Park Introduction
Upon seeing the striking aquamarine seahorse-shaped entrance monument, you know you've arrived at Sanhe Seaside Park. Walking up to the observation platform, you can gaze at the vast scenery of the Pacific Ocean, which is refreshing to the soul. The seaside park utilizes advanced solar and wind power generation facilities to supply nighttime park lighting and for significant community celebrations. The wind turbines for wind power generation are particularly distinctive; as the sea breeze blows, the turbines spin gracefully, complemented by swaying palm shadows and scattered boat silhouettes, creating a scene full of exotic charm. The formerly known "Katsuo Trap" Sanhe Fishing Port is located nearby, featuring a bonito processing plant and a bonito museum. It serves as a landing port for the set-net fishery of Taimali Township, often catching large edible fish like mackerel tuna through its setup in the current of the Kuroshio. Fish unloading and auction times are at 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM each day, during which the fishing port is bustling with activity, filled with lively shouts of vendors and a vibrant atmosphere.
