Mangrove Ecosystem Education Center Introduction
The Mangrove Ecological Education Center is a small but beautiful ecological education center. The current exhibition spaces include static display areas and multimedia audiovisual areas that utilize graphic content, posters, and light boxes to introduce the iconic species of mangroves—Avicennia marina—and the ecology of mudskippers, fiddler crabs, water birds, and more within the mangrove ecosystem. Through the large viewing windows, visitors can enjoy the spectacular and beautiful view of extensive mangrove landscapes, the estuary scenery of the Tamsui River, the beauty of Guanyin Mountain, and the magnificent red Guandu Bridge. Due to the center's location adjacent to the Tamsui Mangrove Natural Reserve, visitors can closely observe the mangrove ecological environment. If needed, reservations can be made in advance to enter the outdoor ecological trails under the guidance of a tour guide, allowing for a personal experience of the mangrove ecosystem and close encounters with water birds, intertidal organisms, and the vibrant diversity of estuarine life within the Tamsui Mangrove Conservation Area.
