Huoyanshan Ecological Education Museum Introduction

The Huoyanshan Ecological Education Center is a three-story landscape building with two basement levels. Both the exterior and interior design take into account the unique natural characteristics of Huoyanshan. Located in Sanyi Township, Miaoli County, it was inaugurated on April 16, 2005, and is one of the few exhibition and educational venues in Taiwan dedicated to natural landscapes. Its purpose is to "make the Huoyanshan Ecological Education Center an important venue for environmental education in the country." It is situated near the Huoyanshan Nature Reserve in Miaoli Sanyi, and on June 17, 2020, it became an accredited environmental education site. In 2023, it received recognition for "Excellent Evaluation of Environmental Education Facilities" from the National Academy for Educational Research, serving as an important gateway for conservation advocacy in the Miaoli area.

Transportation Methods：[By Car] Route 1: Take the Tongluo Interchange and head south along Taiwan Highway 13 towards Sanyi. Shortly after passing Sanyi Railway Station, the destination will be on your left. [By Car] Route 2: Take the Sanyi Interchange and head north along County Highway 13 towards Sanyi City. After passing the post office, the destination will be on your right. [Public Transport] By Train: The venue is about 700m from Sanyi Railway Station, approximately a 10-minute walk.
