Tongluo Sky Bicycle Path Introduction
The Tongluo Bicycle Path is located in Jiuhu Village, Tongluo Township, Miaoli County, also known as the Tongluo Jiuhu Bicycle Path. The route is designed as a circular bike path, approximately 8 kilometers long, built along the ridge of Jiu Hua Mountain. It loops back to the starting point and passes by major attractions such as the Daxing Shansi Temple, the Tiao Yan Ancient Path, and the Hutoukan Ancient Path, including a charming suspension bridge and scenic bridge that cross the valley, showcasing unique features. About 5 kilometers of the bicycle path integrates with the tea garden industry road, and the wide tea fields and rural landscapes are also one of the highlights of the Tongluo Bicycle Path. One of the highest bicycle paths in Taiwan, the Tongluo Bicycle Path includes the so-called "Sky Bicycle Path," which is the highest in Taiwan, located between the Hutoukan Ancient Path and Tiao Yan Ancient Path. This bicycle path that spans the valley is restricted to bicycles and pedestrians only. The uniquely designed observation deck also has bike parking spaces, allowing visitors to park their bikes and enjoy the views from above. Especially during the Tung Blossom season, the sight of the mountains covered with blooming Tung flowers resembles snow, creating a stunning scene. "Enjoying the sunset and sea of clouds along the bicycle path, the scenery is breathtaking and it is perfect for families to come together. Along the Jiuhu Bicycle Path, you can appreciate flowers and enjoy the fragrance, leisurely spending a weekend with a sense of ancient charm, health, and unique pleasure."
