Tongluo Sky Bike Path Introduction
The Tongluo Bicycle Path is located in Jiuhu Village, Tongluo Township, Miaoli County, and is also known as the Tongluo Jiuhu Bicycle Path. The circular route design is approximately 8 kilometers long, built along the ridgeline of Jiuhua Mountain, and returns to the starting point. It passes by major attractions such as the Daxing Shan Temple on Jiuhua Mountain, the Tiao Yan Ancient Trail, and the Hutuocan Ancient Trail, including a traditional suspension bridge and a scenic bridge that cross the valley, making it quite distinctive. About 5 kilometers of the bicycle path is integrated with the tea plantation access road, and the wide views of tea gardens and fields are also a highlight of the Tongluo Bicycle Path. The highest bicycle path in Taiwan, the Tongluo Bicycle Path features the so-called "Sky Bicycle Path," which is the highest in Taiwan, located between the Hutuocan Ancient Trail and the Tiao Yan Ancient Trail. The bicycle path that spans the valley is restricted to bicycles and pedestrians only. A uniquely designed observation platform features bike parking spaces, allowing visitors to conveniently park their bikes and enjoy the view from above, especially during the Tung Blossom season when the valley is covered in white blossoms resembling a snowy landscape, which is truly beautiful.
