Tongluo Sky Bicycle Path Introduction
The Tongluo Bicycle Path is located in Jiuhu Village, Tongluo Township, Miaoli County, also known as the Tongluo Jiuhu Bicycle Path. This circular route stretches approximately 8 kilometers along the ridgeline of Jiuhu Mountain, returning to its starting point and passing by major attractions such as the Daxingshan Temple, Tiao Yan Ancient Road, and Hutoukan Ancient Road. Among them is a uniquely styled suspension bridge and a scenic bridge that cross the valley, adding to its charm. About 5 kilometers of the bicycle path combines with tea plantation access roads, making the vast tea fields and farmland a distinctive feature of the Tongluo Bicycle Path. The highest bicycle path in Taiwan, the so-called "Sky Bicycle Path," lies between the Hutoukan Ancient Road and Tiao Yan Ancient Road. This valley-crossing bicycle path is restricted to bicycles and pedestrians, and a uniquely designed viewing platform includes bicycle parking spaces for visitors to conveniently park their bikes and enjoy the view from above. Especially during the Tung Blossom season, the valley is filled with blooming Tung flowers, resembling a blanket of white snow covering the mountain peaks, which is truly beautiful. "Enjoying the sunset and sea of clouds along the bicycle path offers breathtaking scenery, making it a perfect spot for family visits. Stroll along the Jiuhu Bicycle Path, admiring flowers and inhaling fragrant scents, relaxing and enjoying a leisurely, healthy, and uniquely charming weekend."
