Tongluo Sky Bicycle Path Introduction
The Tongluo Bicycle Path is located in Jiuhu Village, Tongluo Township, Miaoli County. Also known as the Tongluo Jiuhu Bicycle Path, this circular route is approximately 8 kilometers long and is constructed along the ridge of Jiuhua Mountain. It loops back to the starting point, passing by major attractions such as the Daxingshan Temple, Tiao Yanzhi Ancient Path, and Hutoukan Ancient Path. The path features an ancient suspension bridge and a scenic bridge that straddles a valley, both of which are quite distinctive. About 5 kilometers of the bicycle path are combined with the tea plantation access road, adding to the charm of the Tongluo Bicycle Path with its expansive tea fields and rural landscapes. The Tongluo Bicycle Path includes the so-called highest bicycle path in Taiwan, the "Sky Bicycle Path," located between Hutoukan Ancient Path and Tiao Yanzhi Ancient Path. This bike path spans the valley and is exclusively for bicycles and pedestrians. A uniquely designed observation deck features bicycle parking spaces for visitors to easily stop and enjoy the scenery. Particularly during the Tung flower season, the valley is filled with blooming Tung flowers, resembling a blanket of white snow covering the mountains, creating a stunning view. "Enjoying the sunset and sea of clouds along the bicycle path offers irreplaceable scenery, making it an ideal place for families to visit together. Stroll along the Jiuhu Bicycle Path, taking in the flowers and fragrances, and enjoy a leisurely, healthy, and uniquely enjoyable weekend."
