Flying Cow Ranch Introduction

Flying Cow Ranch is located in Tongxiao Township, Miaoli County, nestled against the fire mountain range to the east and facing the Taiwan Strait to the west. It is rich in natural resources and diverse ecological features. In the vast hills, cattle and sheep roam the grasslands, while farmhouses with white walls and red roofs sit on lush green fields, creating a charming pastoral scenery. Flying Cow Ranch spans an area of 120 hectares, including dairy cattle areas, ecological areas, pasture cultivation zones, organic fruit and vegetable areas, and forest conservation zones. It houses 500 dairy cows with a daily milk production of approximately 6 tons, as well as 150 Barbados Blackbelly sheep, goats, mini horses, waterfowl, and other cute animals. The ranch also displays seasonal fruits and vegetables, as well as ecosystems such as camphor tree forests, acacia forests, and tung trees. The current service facility area is 43 hectares and features a visitor rest area which includes barbecue areas, camping sites, accommodation, restaurants, souvenir shops, a dairy products specialty store, and meeting rooms. There is also an agricultural experience area which includes a grassland activity zone, a water ecology zone, a dairy cattle ecology zone, a Blackbelly sheep ecology zone, a butterfly ecology zone, a forest bathing trail, a natural farm, and a children's recreation area. The ranch owner has carefully designed a natural experience green classroom, allowing you to enjoy the fun of DIY and cultivate creative aesthetics; you can also indulge your playful spirit on the grasslands, mingling with cattle and sheep and dancing with butterflies, getting closer to the animals, and exploring the mysteries of the natural ecology. Through the passage of time, Flying Cow Ranch tells the story of nature's various charms, overflowing with the tenderness of spring, the passion of summer, the romance of autumn, and the serenity of winter. Transportation Methods:Driving: (1) National Highway No. 1: Exit at Hsinchu System Interchange → connect to National Highway No. 3 Xiahsing Interchange → take the Western Coastal Expressway (Tai 61) through Baishatun → head towards Tongxiao Outer Ring Road (after passing the tunnel entrance) and turn left onto County Road 121 to reach Flying Cattle Ranch. (2) National Highway No. 3: Exit at Tongxiao Interchange → turn right onto County Road 128 towards Tongxiao → connect to Taiwan Route 1 (Tongxiao Outer Ring Road) → turn left onto County Road 121 to reach Flying Cattle Ranch. Public Transport: (1) Bus: Take the Miaoli or Hsinchu train station and board Miaoli Bus towards Dajia to Tongxiao Station, then walk according to the signs.
