Bamboo Mist Garden Introduction
Ai Ban Wanzi is a specialty rice dish at Zhu Lan Garden. Ai Ban is made by mixing traditional rice and glutinous rice in a 1:1 ratio, soaking, grinding into a paste, and kneading with boiled mugwort and sugar. Originally, it was made for ancestor worship during the Qingming Festival, but under the creative packaging by Boss Lin, it is now offered to tourists for DIY Ai Ban Wanzi. The dumplings can be shaped into various forms, and after shaping, they can be grilled, boiled, and served with a variety of Hakka-style dipping sauces, offering both diverse flavors and fun. Additionally, there are rice foods like zongzi, bowl rice cake, vegetable buns, and grass rice cake available, making the selection quite rich and diverse. Outside Zhu Lan Garden, there is a wide garden lawn and irrigated farming ponds, with an open view as if one is in the wilderness. On a breezy summer afternoon, bringing pets to run and play on the grass creates a leisurely scene that urban elites dream of. After playing, visitors can rest and cool off at the nearby Zhu Lan Pavilion. There is a barbecue area set up next to the garden, suitable for business groups and events. Across the road, there is a cypress ecological area where the soil is moist and similar to a swamp, allowing visitors to see many cypress aerial roots emerging from the ground, both in height and quantity, making it a rarity in Taiwan. Don't forget to experience the wonder of seeing small creatures like dragonflies and crabs under the trees!
