Tiaoshuili Trail Introduction
Located next to the Beipu Old Street, the Nanpu community boasts beautiful mountains and rivers and is known as the "Golden Water Town." Many residents in the community have been farming for generations, preserving a simple rural lifestyle. Upon arriving in Nanpu Village, the first thing that catches the eye is a red steel beam bridge, which resembles the Arabic numeral 100, also known as the "Percent Bridge," a lucky spot for many examinees. After passing the historic "Washing Pavilion," where there is a water channel and washing stones beneath the pavilion, residents still wash their clothes there to this day. Continuing onward, you will soon see the Stone Elder, next to which is the important spiritual center for the residents, the Nanchang Temple. The entrance to the "Tiaoshui Li Trail" is on the opposite side along the farmland road, where a set of stone tables and chairs serves as a recognizable landmark. The Tiaoshui Li Trail has an elevation of about 100 meters and is intersected by streams. Walking along the trail, you can see vast green rice fields; if it's the harvest season, the fields turn golden, with heavy rice ears swaying in the wind, creating beautiful waves of grain. You can also gaze upon famous mountains like Mount E'e Gong and Wuzhishan. Although the Tiaoshui Li Trail is not long, its scenery is varied. Before long, the surrounding landscape shifts from soothing pastoral views to lush forests, so be mindful of the fallen leaves and branches at your feet. Ahead is a green-painted iron bridge that harmonizes with the lush greenery of the surrounding forest, blending beautifully into the scenery. Water flows gently beneath the bridge, and sunlight filtering through the leaves creates a shimmering effect on the surface. Following the steps of the trail further will lead you back to the external industrial road. Opposite is the entrance to the Guanyin Trail, located next to the historic "Jingang Temple."
