Warship Rock Suspension Bridge Introduction
The Junjian Rock Suspension Bridge is located in the Jian Shi Township of Hsinchu County, and the Zhisheng Mao Tai Mountain Trail is one of the trails in this area. With an elevation of 1,789 meters, the trail ascends nearly 1,000 meters over a round-trip distance of approximately 7 kilometers. The journey is mostly uphill, presenting a challenge in terms of both physical endurance and climbing skills, making it a moderately difficult hiking route. It's recommended that hikers carry trekking poles to manage the steeper sections. The starting point of the Zhisheng Mao Tai Mountain Trail is located past the Junjian Rock Suspension Bridge, which is adorned with the diamond-shaped totem of the Atayal people, reflecting the connection to the Atayal culture. From the suspension bridge, visitors can overlook Junjian Rock, which resembles a ship ready to set sail, standing majestically in the Baishih Valley, leaving onlookers in awe of nature's artistry. Baishih Creek is known for its crystal-clear waters, home to many clean-water-loving mudfish, creating an excellent ecological environment. In autumn, the maple trees surrounding Junjian Rock turn red, adding vibrant color to the entire valley. To truly experience the beauty of the maple leaves, one can cross the nearby Kongxi Suspension Bridge to reach a beautiful grove of sweet gum trees. This grove is located at the confluence of the Baishih Creek and Taigang Creek, combining the spectacular valley scenery, urging visitors to pause and admire. To closely observe the maple leaves, passing through the Kongxi Suspension Bridge near Junjian Rock will lead to the sweet gum forest, where the breathtaking valley and the hill filled with red maples create a stunning landscape. Nearby, there is the Xiuluan Hot Spring, which attracts many tourists annually in autumn to visit and take photos.
