Tai-Kai Happy Farm Introduction
Taiwan Happy Farm is a free admission petting zoo and family attraction, covering an area of 45 hectares. There are no shaded areas, so remember to bring sun protection items or prepare for sun exposure. The park is filled with various flowers, and during the blooming season, the sight of blooms is breathtaking. It is currently open all day and free for visits. Upon entering the park, visitors can see marble sculptures of indigenous totems, with Hualien stone sculptures displayed throughout, creating an artistic ambiance. The most eye-catching aspect of Happy Farm is the small animals that are easy to approach. There are also paid horseback riding experiences, and while the sika deer are behind wooden fences, they can interact with people. Visitors can buy feed to feed the sika deer from the horse area. A leisurely stroll around this small farm will take about half a day. The Dream Stone Plaza in the park faces the Pacific Ocean and is an excellent spot to watch sunrises and sunsets. The park has also planned a bicycle path along the East Coast, allowing visitors to ride their bikes against the wind between the sea and sky. One unique feature of Happy Farm is its location at the river's estuary, where the sandbar is rich in ecological resources. Further along the coast, visitors can observe intertidal organisms and water birds, making it a therapeutic recreational area. The park includes a farm and a horse riding area, with many organic crops planted; it also features an adorable animal area and an ecological fish pond. Here, sika deer, peacocks, and roosters are raised, while the ecological pond is home to mallards and swans leisurely swimming.
