Beikou Sign Area Introduction
The North Entrance Sign Area, also known as the Eastern Coastal National Scenic Area, is located along the coastal highway from Hualien City. After crossing the Hualien Bridge, which connects the East Coast and the Central Valley, you will take a left turn and walk a short distance to see the prominent signs: one indicating the Eastern Coastal National Scenic Area and another in English. The North Entrance Sign Area serves as a symbolic landmark and a small open space that provides temporary parking for visitors. It is a great resting spot for cyclists and motorcyclists, allowing them to take a break and snap photos of this iconic site, capturing the bilingual signs of the Eastern Coastal National Scenic Area. The North Entrance Sign Area symbolizes the entrance to a beautiful coastline. After passing through this sign area and going around a bend, you will be greeted by the most beautiful coastline and coastal highway in the eastern region.
