With the promotion of cycling by the Chiayi City Government, during weekends, you can see families riding bikes and leisurely cycling around Chiayi City, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The wide shaded avenues of Zhong Hsiao Road and Shih Hsien Road in Chiayi City provide ample green spaces, and the city's traffic department has planned bike lanes, allowing the public to enjoy a ride surrounded by greenery. Shih Hsien Road is an important outer ring road in Chiayi City, measuring 90 meters wide, with eight lanes and broad green belts on both sides, while the bike lane meanders through the forest. As you continue along Shih Hsien Road, even if cars are speeding outside, cyclists are not affected at all. Each section of the Shih Hsien Road bike lane showcases different scenery, each with its own charm. The road features both concrete and brick surfaces, adding to the fun of cycling!
