Power Room Wood Sculpture Exhibition Hall (Under Renovation) Introduction
The predecessor was the earliest thermal power plant in Chiayi City and also the first steel-reinforced concrete (SRC) structure in Chiayi City, completed in 1913. It was one of the early constructions in Taiwan that utilized modern architectural techniques and is a rare example of a tall, large-span building. Currently, this historical building has been renovated and repurposed as a space for wood sculpture exhibitions.
