Fish Station Introduction
Shuangxi Fishery Station is located in Yuhang Village, Shuangxi District. This site was used as a stopping point for officials and soldiers during the Qing Dynasty, and in the 1970s, it served as a dumping ground for coal slag from a fishery coal mine. After road construction, it was refilled and transformed into green space. The Fishery Station is a must-stop along the provincial highway 2B, connecting Shuangxi and Gongliao. It now integrates a local temple, an observation deck, and seating areas, with redefined landscaping that combines coal mining elements with the area's rich tree resources to design pathways and rest facilities for cyclists.
